The house is situated in a small hamlet surrounded by lovely countryside and a short drive from Surgeres, the home of dairy farming in the Charente. This charming town has many shops and restaurants as well as the impressive remains of a medieval fortress surrounded by beautiful gardens. Surgeres has a swimming pool and regular markets.
